Automattic for Agencies provides two primary earning models: referral commissions and WooPayments revenue share. You can also purchase products in bulk at a discount and resell them to clients at your own rates, adding margins of your choosing.
When your clients purchase Automattic products — including hosting from WordPress.com or Pressable, Jetpack plans, and WooCommerce extensions — through the Automattic for Agencies referral cart, your agency earns a recurring commission on the initial purchase and every renewal. Commission rates vary by product and can reach up to 50%.

When your clients use WooPayments on their WooCommerce sites, your agency earns a revenue share based on the Total Payments Volume (TPV) processed. Revenue share rates differ depending on whether the client is a new or pre-existing WooPayments user, and every dollar processed also contributes to your agency’s tier progression.

Purchase Automattic products at volume discounts of up to 80% off retail through the Marketplace. Resell them to your clients at your own rates using the billing method of your choice. Volume discount purchases do not earn a referral commission, but they do contribute to your agency’s Influenced Automattic Revenue (IAR) and tier progression.
Commissions are paid quarterly with a 60-day waiting period and are net of refunds and chargebacks. You must earn at least $50 in commissions to receive a payout. To receive payouts, enter and verify your billing information in the Automattic for Agencies portal.
