To receive commission payouts from Automattic for Agencies, you need to add your banking and tax information through Tipalti, our secure payments platform. Tipalti walks you through each step, including address details, payment method, and tax forms.

In this guide, you will learn how to access your payout settings and complete the Tipalti setup process.

  1. Log in to the Automattic for Agencies portal.
  2. Navigate to Referrals → Payout Settings from the sidebar.

  1. Complete the four-step Tipalti setup:
    • Address: Enter your contact and address details. Select “Individual” or “Company” depending on how your agency is registered.
    • Payment Method: Add your bank account or select another available payment method.
    • Tax Forms: Complete the required tax forms. Tipalti guides you through the appropriate forms based on whether you are a US or non-US person or entity.
    • Done: Review and confirm your details.
  2. Click Next to proceed through each step.

If your payout information is not added before the payout date, you may lose eligibility for payments earned during that period. For the full payout schedule, visit the partner incentives page.

Automattic for Agencies issues all commission payments in USD. If your bank account uses a different currency, Tipalti may offer the option to convert to your local currency during setup. Payouts are available in all countries supported by Tipalti.

Automattic for Agencies cannot provide tax advice. The tax forms presented during the Tipalti setup are determined by your location and entity type. If you have questions about your tax obligations, consult a qualified tax professional.
