The Sites Dashboard gives you an overview of the security and performance across all the sites you manage, regardless of host.
In this guide, you will learn about the features available in the Sites Dashboard, how to add sites, and how to view detailed site information.
The Sites Dashboard displays the following information for each site:
- Stats: Traffic insights for the last 7 days. Requires Jetpack Stats, which is free for non-commercial use.
- Boost score: A summary of your site’s performance across desktop and mobile devices. You can add Jetpack Boost to sites directly from the dashboard. Install the Jetpack Boost plugin on your WordPress site for the full experience. Free and paid options are available.
- Backup: The status of backups on each site. You can add Jetpack VaultPress Backup licenses to sites that do not have backups. This is a paid service for sites hosted outside of Pressable or WordPress.com.
- Scan: Indicates whether Jetpack Scan has detected a security threat. When a threat is found, the cell displays the number of threats. Click the threat count to open the Jetpack Scan dashboard and address them. This is a paid service for sites hosted outside of Pressable or WordPress.com.
- Monitor: Toggle downtime monitoring on and off, adjust monitoring frequency, and choose how you receive downtime notifications (email or mobile push). Free.
- Plugins: Displays which sites have plugins that need updating. Click the column to open plugin management for that site in WP Admin. If you have WordPress.com or Pressable plans, you can also manage plugins from those respective dashboards.

The Sites Dashboard provides the following views to help you organize your sites. These views can be toggled in the left sidebar:
- Needs attention: View sites with plugin updates available or security issues that need resolving
- Needs setup: View WordPress.com licenses for which a site has not yet been created
- Development: View un-launched sites associated with a free development license at WordPress.com
- Favorites: Mark sites that need extra attention. Toggle to the Favorites view to display only your favorited sites.

Automattic for Agencies can display sites you own at any host, including WordPress.com and Pressable. You can also purchase WordPress.com and Pressable hosted sites, which appear on the Sites Dashboard automatically.
📌
For detailed steps on connecting sites, see the guide on adding sites to the Sites Dashboard.
Each site row includes an action menu (⋮) at the end of the row. Use this menu to access site settings, visit WP Admin, remove a site, and more.

Click any feature column in the Sites Dashboard to open the Preview Pane. The Preview Pane displays more detailed information for each feature or product you have enabled, including:
- Hosting information: PHP version, WordPress version, and site status.
- Boost: Detailed performance data, including mobile and desktop scores.
- Backup: The full Jetpack VaultPress Backup experience. Requires paid product
- Scan: The full Jetpack Scan experience. Requires paid product
- Monitor: Uptime data over the past 20 days.
- Stats: More detailed traffic information.
- Activity log: The Jetpack Activity Log for the site.

Many Automattic for Agencies features and products are not compatible with WordPress multisite installations.
However, if you install and activate the Automattic for Agencies plugin on each site in the network individually, those sites will appear in the Sites Dashboard.
