You can remove sites from your Sites Dashboard directly through Automattic for Agencies, or by disconnecting the plugin that links them entirely. The method you choose depends on whether you want to keep Jetpack connected to the site.

In this guide, you will learn how to remove a site while preserving its Jetpack connection, and how to fully disconnect a site by deactivating its plugin.

To remove a site without disconnecting Jetpack or any associated features, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Sites Dashboard in Automattic for Agencies.
  2. Locate the site you want to remove.
  3. Click the action menu (⋮) next to the site.
  4. Select “Remove site”.

⚠️

Disconnecting Jetpack removes most Jetpack features associated with your installed plugins. Use the method described in “Remove a site from the Sites Dashboard” above if you want to keep Jetpack functionality intact.

Jetpack offers individual plugins that use your WordPress.com account to connect your site to Automattic for Agencies. Regardless of which Jetpack plugins you have installed, disconnect with these steps:

  1. Log in to the wp-admin of the site you want to remove.
  2. Navigate to Jetpack → My Jetpack.
  3. Scroll to the “Connection” section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Manage next to “Site and account connected.”

If you purchased products through the Marketplace and assigned them to a site, removing that site from the Sites Dashboard does not cancel those subscriptions. You will continue to be billed for assigned products until you cancel them.
