When you or your client purchases Pressable hosting through Automattic for Agencies, licenses are issued for the number of sites included in the plan. You then create sites from your Pressable account using those licenses.
In this guide, you will learn how to access Pressable from your Automattic for Agencies dashboard and create a new site.
Follow these steps to open your Pressable account from Automattic for Agencies:
- Navigate to Purchases → Licenses on your Automattic for Agencies dashboard.
- Locate your Pressable license and click “Manage in Pressable”.

- If this is the first time you accessed Pressable, approve the connection between your accounts when prompted. You can then use the WordPress.com login option when prompted in future.
You are taken to the Pressable Control Panel. You can also access it directly at my.pressable.com.
Follow these steps to create a site in the Pressable Control Panel:
- Click “Add Site” in the top left of the Pressable Control Panel.
- From the resulting dropdown click “Create New Site”

- If you have sent a client referral in the past, sites your client has purchased will be available to create here. If this applies to you, select the account under which the site is to be created (i.e. yours or your client’s).
- Your agency account: Uses a license from your own Pressable plan purchase.
- A client account: Uses a license from a client’s referral purchase. Select the client’s account from the dropdown to apply their license and give them access to the site through their own Pressable account.

- Choose the correct type of site

- Complete the site creation form with your site details.
- Site Name: This is the temporary site name used before a custom domain is attached.
- PHP Version: Choose the best version for your site.
- Datacenter: Choose the primary datacenter for your site.
- Optional Add-ons: Select if this will be a WooCommerce site or a Multisite.
- Click the “Create New Site” button to create the site.
Your new Pressable site is live and appears in the Pressable Control Panel. It also appears on your Sites Dashboard in Automattic for Agencies.
