Archive a referral

You can archive referrals to clean up your dashboard and revoke access to unused referral links. You may want to do this if you sent a client a referral for a product but subsequently decided to use a different option.

In this guide, you will learn how to archive a referral and what happens when you do.

Referrals are archived at the level of the individual pending referral. Only pending referrals can be archived.

Follow these steps to archive a referral:

  1. Navigate to Referrals on your Automattic for Agencies dashboard.
  2. Click the client’s email address to open their referral list.
  3. Locate the specific referral you want to archive.
  4. Click the action menu (⋮) next to the referral.

  1. Select Archive.
  • Pending referrals: The referral link is deactivated. Your client can no longer use it to make a payment.
  • Dashboard organization: Archived referrals remain visible when you click the client’s email address. If a client has only archived referrals, their entry moves to the bottom of your client list.
