You can archive referrals to clean up your dashboard and revoke access to unused referral links. You may want to do this if you sent a client a referral for a product but subsequently decided to use a different option.
In this guide, you will learn how to archive a referral and what happens when you do.
Referrals are archived at the level of the individual pending referral. Only pending referrals can be archived.
Follow these steps to archive a referral:
- Navigate to Referrals on your Automattic for Agencies dashboard.
- Click the client’s email address to open their referral list.
- Locate the specific referral you want to archive.
- Click the action menu (⋮) next to the referral.

- Select Archive.
- Pending referrals: The referral link is deactivated. Your client can no longer use it to make a payment.
- Dashboard organization: Archived referrals remain visible when you click the client’s email address. If a client has only archived referrals, their entry moves to the bottom of your client list.
